Yeah, it could be because of our car culture, not the cars themselves. Or maybe it’s just good old fashioned lack of mental healthcare.

People spend SO much money on their damn cars, and often treat them both like a second home and a part of their personality.

No joke, heard a story of a guy that had a gun stolen from is car. Lamenting it because it was a expensive piece with modifications to is appearance that he liked. When asked what happened, he left it on the fucking dashboard in plain view. Didn’t even attempt to hide it at the least. Just out there for all to see. I like firearms as a preface, I think they’re neat and do serve some purposes but, the careless and frivolous nature of how we consider them in the USA is one of the reasons gun violence is so high.

On the bright side, if your car ever gets stolen, cops will be really invested in finding it if you tell them your gun was under the seat. Cops generally don’t care about stolen vehicles. They tend to take an “eh, it’s probably already in a chop shop” approach. But if you tell them your gun was in the car, they’re suddenly a lot more invested in finding it.

A lot the world does, however, have to live with the constant threat of being bombed by our military or a military that our taxes fund.

Almost like the violence we export to other countries comes back home to our own culture and society.

Carry a few used AA batteries instead and throw them at the back window after they’ve passed. That way you have time to get away.

Why AA batteries specifically? I have not tried it but they seem soft.

Oh that makes sense, any mineral harder than glass will do probably. Even hardened steel. Maybe a drill bit, a tap, a mill, a metal file?

In California, since 2003, ninja rocks have been explicitly listed as burglary tools, and their possession with intent to burglarize is a misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in county jail and/or a fine of up to $1000

            Lol

probably because they are pretty dense objects, decent weight in a small package

200g weights, they’re used for calibrating measuring instruments. Fits in the palm of your hand, weighs about a half pound. I think 1 will run you like 8 bucks, and you don’t have to waste a battery.

Dead AAs don’t cost anything. They are otherwise headed to recycling or a dump. And they fit nicely in you pocket most of the time.

Broken spark plug ceramic works even better and will shatter tempered glass, but if cops catch you with it they might know what it’s for. The batteries are plausible pocket stuff.

Yeah cops will definitely recognize ninja rocks, I’m just not sure a double A will carry enough weight to break a car window.

As the pedestrian began walking away, the gunman, wearing a black hat and a black and white striped jumpsuit, parked on Canal Street and began following the 42-year-old before pulling out a handgun and shooting him in the left leg, police said.

He’d best get used to wearing that kind of clothing for a while.

Just add a comically oversized sack with a $$ sign on the side, and a mask of zorro and he can audition for the role of bank robber in a pink panther cartoon.
