I’m supposed to simultaneously believe Kkkontrapoints is a leading intellectual figure with clever biting insight while also that she’s constantly flinging shit on twitter. She’s threatened to quit the internet like five times now and always comes back.

Also I would expect any rational human to attempt to strangle Clinton or Obama if they were in arm’s reach.

Ok so I’ll play out this thought experiment. If Hasan had Obama on his stream it would depend. If he just treated him like a friend and was excited to see him, that would piss me and his community off, but if he asked him some serious questions. Like why didn’t you prosecute the bush admin for war crimes, why did you let everyone off the hook for 2008, how do you feel about all the drone strikes after getting a nobel peace prize, how do you feel about being known as the deporter in chief, why did you pass a private healthcare instead of a public option, do you feel responsible for rise of trump and fascism… I have a feeling Hasan would ask these questions and that’s probably why Obama would never be on his stream.

So you have to ask yourself, why was Hillary not afraid to be grilled with similar questions that would hold her accountable?

well yes, i’ve been mad about obama joking about drone striking his daughter boyfriends for a decade at this point, so what up

you can watch a testimony of, i think, a pakistan girl about how clear skies fill her with dread of killing to come, and then watch that joke back to back, and then stay mad about obama for a lifetime

Remember a headline going something like “middle eastern children afraid of blue skies” because that’s when the drones are out to hunt.

      Demonic levels of evil.

“…Oh, sorry, didn’t recognize you without the Victorian period costume, elaborate set pieces, and bisexual lighting. Congrats on getting a voice acting gig in BG3 and that cameo as a pirate in Gambo Thrones 2: More Gambo More Thrones or whatever, though.”

      actually

You’re confusing contrapoints/Natalie wynn for philosophy tube/Abigail Thorn. She’s the transgender breadtuber with a panache for the theatrics that got parts in BG3 and gambo. Tbf I don’t think Abigail is nearly as much a shitty person as Natalie but I don’t follow her that closely. She’s atleast less on Twitter

abby is dope and her content has always been better and is much more timeless than most or all of contrapoints’. Ive gone back to philosophytube/abby but i havent really felt the need to rewatch or reconsider kkkontra.

Just want to point out that Abby participated in the “before talking about Gaza, it’s super important to talk at length about the rise of antisemitic violence”-cliché in a (semi) recent video. I don’t generally watch her content, so maybe it’s an exception to otherwise good takes, but that one left a sour taste in my mouth.

Dunno about you but I wouldn’t hype a person who both sides the gaza genocide and amplified the fake “rising antisemitism” crisis. Turns out you can make a lot of things antisemetic if you define jewishness as genocidal.

Alexander Avila is pretty great too

Well he’s got like two absolute clown takes but is otherwise good and might’ve learned something since then

I saw like two videos from Avila and he just seemed like such a wannabe French cafe type intellectual with no inclination to do substantive leftist analysis. That was a few years ago, but usually these internet “intellectuals” become worse as they become more successful on Youtube rather than better (or at best stay the same), so I hope I can be forgiven for not checking recent work.

          Pretty sure

Did you do sufficient investigation to earn the right to speak about this?

Because I did some searches on her Tumblr for “Palestine” and “Gaza” and that doesn’t seem to be the case at all.

Whatever one might think about the specifics of Abigail’s public stances on Palestine (specifics muddied by the fact that the United KKKingdom essentially has no freedom of speech), I don’t think Zionists usually raise money for World Central Kitchen, or publically say “Free Palestine”.

At any rate, even across those two Tumblr posts, she’s still done infinitely more than Contrapoints and her nihilistic nonsense tweet on the subject.

Most of them aren’t natural blondes, especially not bright blonde like actresses are often prompted to appear by the patriarchs of the film & TV industries, but don’t worry, there’s no political content to that trend.

Keeping dyed blond hair especially when trying to make it look natural and having it thst way all the time is fucking hard snd really bad for your hair as well. I have silver hair for 6 months and red hair for 6 cause the silver means bleaching the absolute fuck out of it and then introducing more ammonia and whatever the fuck chemicals make it look like anime hair and maintenance is like…nuts. the rest of the year theres a red hair mask available around me that coats yer hair instead of dying it and gives it uv shelter to recover. There isnt really any way to stay dyed blond in a convincing as natural way that doesn’t totally fuck your hair up. Maybe super rich people with daily high level salon access but even a contrapoints rich person is wrecking their hair keeping that up. I also dont know her natural hair colour, dont care to speculate and dont really wanna dunk on her for her looks, I just know my way around hair.

The most pathetic and cowardly abuse of idpol thinking imaginable, and perfectly appropriate for Clintonpoints since Hill tried to do just the same thing to explain how it wasn’t her fault she lost to obomber. Those dang sexist Obama boys.
