    I don’t really like this framing because, intentionally or not, it presumes the existence of an omniscient and omnipotent objective third party that calls the shots on what is and isn’t fair and holds different actors to account. (Liberals think this is the UN but they forget the second criterion of this entity requiring actual power.)

    The reality of the asymmetrical relationship means that declaring open season on American drones at this point will invite an extremely disproportionate response in exchange for vanishingly little achievement of broader goals.

  • I've been thinking about this over the past few days, and it really reminds me of the Irish-Americans being ultra-racist to get into the white club. Well, it worked for them. And in 2026, systemic oppression of white Jews is just about as real as systemic oppression of Irish-Americans.
