This would be so easy to make into a much better comic. War has a red horse, so just put MAGA on War’s horse! Or you could involve all of the horsemen and give each of them a letter of MAGA plus something Trump did on theme, like Covid or antivax shit for Pestilence, tariffs fucking up prices for Famine (the Biblical Famine was a price-gouger), the invasion of Iran for War, and then Death is “Coming Soon.”

Could do a lot of stuff with this, like a “He’s making us look bad” kind of thing with the four horsemen, instead they did probably the least interesting thing they could’ve possibly done with the idea of “MAGA and the horsemen of the apocalypse”

I was on the fence. I didn’t much relish the thought that it might get to 2 upvotes and stall out. But the cartoon kept making me laugh so I had to post it.
Absolutely, it making you laugh is reason enough, I was just giving my own opinion on it.
This reminds me of Good Omens, an excellent comedic novel by Terry Pratchett (PBUH) and the vile Neil Gaiman.
They have extra horsemen with names such as: Grievous Bodily Harm, Answerphones, and Being Buried Up to Your Neck in Fish.

And Pestilence, not Famine or Death, has a scythe, while Famine has nothing when canonically he has scales. Also also the colors are wrong (Famine should have the black horse while Death has a “pale” horse). War is the only one who is close to accurate since he does correctly have a sword and the horse is at least close to being the correct color (red).
Not sure about death looking berserk, but I swear I remember some of the historical depictions of famine being either gaunt or skeletal. Because, you know, starving. Doesn’t fit with the (slightly more) modern “Death is a skeleton in black robes” thing.
Its still weird, because Death being a skeleton is most common. Also Famine isn’t the last horseman (its Death funnily), so having him say “and up next, our new guy” makes even less sense. Feels borderline like the author drew them left to right in order of how they remembered their names. But then just jumbled Death and Famine up?
Not to mention (as others pointed out) the horse colors are wrong. Should be pale > white > red/brown (correct) > black. Also #2 (here) being labeled Pestilence is debated, which I didn’t know/forgot. Probably should be Conquest but it isn’t clear. Fine for pop culture but just further evidence of laziness.
2/10, a poor attempt at reference to previous work. Points for trying to say something.
(Unrelated to the above: I know 99.9% of political cartoons are lazy, but c’mon. Easily could be improved by having one of them saying “The new guy is doing a great job” while a bright red horse labeled maga prances off.)

Why does the MAGA guy look like Sloth from The Goonies?
I kind of like the design of the maga guy.
But…what does that even mean? MAGA is some kind of horrific disaster on the same level as these other ones? They cause these other disasters, but I don’t…Is it supposed to be saying that MAGA is going to cause the apocalypse? Like, as an “own” or something? A lot of them would probably take that idea as a compliment.
Also isn’t death traditionally depicted as a skeleton (and as others have said, rides a pale horse?) I’m all for artistic interpretation, but if you have to label each of them because otherwise people won’t know which is which, I feel like you’ve failed to convey the idea you want.
Or maybe he drew them and realised he couldn’t fit “Famine” on the singlet that guy on the left is wearing, so he swapped famine and death because the labels are non-negotiable and HAVE TO be a part of the picture.
