I always go mint chocolate chip when I’m getting my own ice cream.
It’s really rare for me to opt into getting a tub of it, as often I’m getting that for multiple guests or whatever, and forcing mint chocolate chip on everyone in that circumstance feels like forcing Hawaiian pizza on others at a party. So when I’m getting a scoop in store, it’s like “now’s my chance!”
I wouldn’t mind someone forcing mint chip on me. It’s objectively the best ice cream flavor, assuming it has enough chips.

Yeah I’ve never heard of someone actually disliking mint chocolate chip. Sure it’s not necessarily everyone’s favorite, but it’s not a flavor I’ve ever heard of being a deal breaker for someone. Meanwhile if the only pizza you’ve got is pineapple, plenty of folks will pass on a slice
The difference is that you can pick off toppings on pizzas. You can’t with ice creams… Chocolate and mint mixed together is a disgusting flavour in my opinion.

No, they’re on the customer side. Ice cream shops have the employee side glass at the downward angle like that so the freezer can be kept closed and easily opened to get the ice cream out for customers. Customers get the flat side so they can see the options available.
