There’s no reason for Biden on the way out to not pause all weapons from the US to Isreal. The UN gave Biden an opportunity to let Palestine become internationally recognized before Trump takes office. Biden still said no to both. Even if Trump could reverse those changes, Biden would have saved some lives.
Biden is a devout Catholic, so that means he believes the rapture can’t happen until Isreal is home to all jews. Of course zionest don’t believe that, they are just taking Christian fundamentalist fever dream and using it for colonizing Palestinian land. Not for nothing but Harris and the Democrats were very clear that supporting Palestine was never ever on the table in any way whatsoever. So I don’t know why y’all keep talking about this as if it was a choice between helping and not helping.
But the current Democratic administration have made it clear that they don’t see Palestinians as humans worthy of self determination. The DNC wouldn’t even allow a Palestinian American representative from Georgia to speak on stage. That’s a state the Democrats needed to win.
The US was never a good faith partner in the peace process. It is probably for the best that the rest of the world realizes this and act accordingly. Who else but Trump could galvanize the rest of the world to oppose the US?
