They degrade by about 10% on a 5 year time scale on average. So when your EV is 10 years old its at a state of health is about 80% of original charge. I mean you might get a lemon that degrades faster than that but then typically you're also putting in a warranty claim for a new battery. I'm not sure how long getting to 10% of original charge would even take because who would even keep a car that long?

I actually believe this. I believe people are both more ignorant and petty than even you or I can imagine. I also think that people can be persuaded. Make people think that these ideas were something they came up.
But the point of this is literally don't let perfect be the enemy of good. There's a rather large subset of the population that hears "oh no animals products at all? Forget that." And they commit to no animal product reduction at all. So then the question is harm no animals, or harm less animals?
Hey so i can go buy a rifle right now. If you mean fully automatic rifles? Yeah you're going to want to get those from Canadian forces along with some proper fucking training. I think that if this does go down, any American who does fight for Canada should get Canadian citizenship with all the benefits that entails (healthcare).
