Case in point:

The “Polska szklanka”. Every home has one, transparent or dark glass. For some reason even if you don’t have them, they will randomly appear.

Too on the nose… Don’t canadians have something more recognizable for eachother but an outsider wouldn’t know what the hell you’re talking about? Like, I posted a goddamn glass lol. There must be something local to you.
I feel like the only things here that are genuinely different from the US are conspicuously Canadian.
The HBC point blanket is an iconic object the US doesn’t have, but I don’t have one because the history makes me really uncomfortable.

This is a good one. I praise the person who designed these ones by the way because the middle piece is so easy to access and see what you’re doing when you need to change a light bulb. I legitimately hate whoever designed the ones with the 3 screws around the cover instead.
I hate them. They look like utters or a pair of tits in the room lol.

Behold, my culture:

That’s where you hang the goon bags from
I’ve seen people hang laundry on them???
Ooh, I was going to use a jar of Vegemite but this works much better.
clothesline right? there’s some of these in the US but they’re like 70 years old
Yup, the ones here are super old, not 70 years, but old. They’re also increasingly rare as backyards become smaller and people prefer more compact clotheslines

US is too easy so a little more specific, I don’t really consider Amerikkka my nationality anyway
Tlingit art goes hard. Some family brought a rattle and some other instruments from the Kichx̱áan area and I’m constantly amazed at the stuff people can make by hand.
presumably a 64 fluid ounce (1.9L) soda fountain cup only exists here
murica

they exist in aus
are they an invasive species there?
My parents got this exact one as a wedding gift.
Holy shit, I grew up with the exact same bowls.
Oma’s Salatschüssel
That looks vaguely German.
It is, indeed, vaguely German.
I feel called out
Not my country but my partners.

They must be silver, right? There’s an old belief there that at the royal court only silver chopstick were used because they protect you from arsenic in your food.

I knew these weren’t a worldwide thing but I only very recently learned just how localized this is.
In the summer, drinking cool water out of this while sitting among the trees. That’s good shit. It’s not a pitcher to fill a cup, you pitch it towards your mouth and gulp continuously from it.
I consider the one in the photo (found it on Google) novelty sized, all of the ones my extended family uses have a wider rounded base and hold like 1.5L. The lace things are to keep insects out but they’re annoying. Usually I only see the ones that cover the filling hole at the top, and no second piece for the spout.
In my SO’s country, they take barbecuing pretty seriously

50cm long, ultra-sharp Pointy End level of seriousness.
Turkieye?

At least doxx my background.
