The cool, but not freezing cold, weather. Like the perfect temp for wearing a hoodie all day.

There’s also a vibe to it. Like a stillness you can feel even in the middle of a busy city. It feels cozy af. All my summer people are just beginning their descent into seasonal depression, while I am coming out of mine.

The food.

I can finally make soups and casseroles without my household dying from the kitchen heat. I make pumpkin bread and applesauce and apple cider donuts and it pairs perfectly with the weather.

Spiced teas and cider also hit so different when you’re breathing in fresh crisp air 🍁🍂
