As a Canadian the rampant enshittification of American products is one of the reasons I avoid them now (pre tariffs).
America has many high quality brands, but so often once they beat out competitors they dump the quality and ramp up the prices.

The people who believe in trump, that I have interacted with, think that low prices are part of the plan that will happen alongside the racism. We have neighbors that do the same. We’ve had to re-gift a few or redirect them to other neighbors, because we don’t eat very many eggs at all. It’s certainly a nice gesture, though.
About $9/dozen where I am, if there are any even left on the shelf.
