The idea of female Draco being a love interest of Harry has been around since early 2010s Tumblr - years before people realized JK was a TERF. In fact a lot of the art and design circulating on X were from that era by predominately female artists these chuds keep shitting on. Absolutely cringe they’re calling it a “movement”. I mean what’s the fucking end goal of this “Movement”? To have an Asuka Tsundere racist trad wife they can boot lick, or whatever the fuck? And now they’re saying women are ruining their “movement” because they’re joining in on the fun, even though the original gender bender fanfic stuff was created by “woke” tumblr girls long before these chuds even fucking conceptualized the idea of female Draco.

Of course rowling isn’t exactly a good writer, what she had was a fun concept that was broad enough for people to self insert their own head canon like Twilight. Harry Potter wouldn’t have been nearly as successful had it not been for the art direction/Music of the movies and the charming actors portraying their roles. The first movie could have easily flopped and the franchise relegated into obscurity. Personally, I think the world building in HP is kinda stupid the more I learn about it, which shows how elitist and limited in scope rowling’s mind is.

oh, it’s far worse than limited. It’s actively regressive. Portraying slavery as a positive and turning the main character into a cop in the ending is just a few of the many examples of how bad her writing is.

TLDR The Harry Potter character draco malfoy who is potters kinda rival in the books and movies got a genderbent version . Speak he/she is a girl now .

Different people have different opinions on it. I think its kinda cute but I havent interacted with Harry Potter in more than a decade.

A portmanteau of Malfoy (obviously) and foid, which is an incel term for women that stands for “femoid” or “female humanoid organism”

So, so cool that this shit is mainstream now

I knew the term foid but not the name of the character; I have never read Harry Potter. My closest experience to reading Harry Potter is My Immortal

Don’t agree with the Bowsette take, I saw plenty of trans women upholding Bowsette as a “trans goals” kind of character. Obviously the goon material was a big part of it, but it wasn’t the only aspect.
