They’re hiding Mitch’s body until after the midterms.
Just think about that. Forget the politics of it for a second. They’re hiding a literal corpse. Think of how messed up that is. Like imagine if the manager of a Walmart one day just stopped being visible on the work floor. There was no new manager, and you as a worker were told he’s still the manager. But everybody’s been saying how he’s actually dead in his office which now reeks…and everybody knows. But they keep at the lie. They keep telling you the manager has written you up for insubordination. Normally when that happens he calls you into his office to yell at you. Not this time. This time you’re just handed a write up slip. You ask if this is because you asked if his corpse were rotting in his office, to which they reply there is no corpse. He just has the flu, but he can still see all the cameras and write you up for causing trouble.
That’s kinda what this feels like. Like being in a walmart that reeks of dead bodies while everyone else acts like everything is normal, while you wonder why nobody is burning this tinderbox to the ground.

There’s as much going for it being fake as it is real. Most of the conspiracy that it’s fake is social media users. Most of the conspiracy it’s real is media getting in AI image experts saying it’s real.
You can draw your own conclusions on which to believe. Personally, I see neither as trustworthy for obvious reasons, and so it’s kind of a pointless piece of evidence to hold onto for now.
Either way, it’s another great distraction played on to divert the plugged in society that is USA citizens. This much is true and most evident. Perfect scenario for more diffusing of Iran shenanigans and whatever other shit is going on.
