There’s something just so empty about the symbology here. Like, the only reason I can picture them dressing him like that is so people associate him with the founding fathers, who are quasi-religious figures in the US. Which I suppose checks out, they were trying to deify this guy after his neck exploded. But it’s so strange seeing the US civil religion so…in your face like this.
