Well, they massively expanded jail space everywhere, as well as funding for ICE. Of course they’re going after much more people than just “illegal immigrants”. Yeah, the thing about international law is that there’s no real enforcement mechanism. If you break it, either your own country has to arrest you, or you’d have to be dumb enough to travel to a country that will do that. It’s why Putin didn’t travel to South Africa for a summit, and why Netanyahu is happily travelling all over the US and Europe while continuing a genocide.
I don’t think she would be stateless. Seems she’s living in Ireland and has an Irish born parent. She might have dual citizenship at this point.
That’s not to say there is any legal mechanism to take away her American citizenship, just that being left stateless would likely not be the result.
