Didn’t think rice would be used for non-eating purposes.
It can also be used for trying to save your laptop if you spilled water on it. Put your laptop in rice and hope that the rice will be able to soak away that water.

I bet someone emptied some leftover rice in a toilet and noticed how well some of it stuck to the porcelain. /s

I’m familar with various grains making excellent glue, but hadn’t heard about the use of rice starch.A quick search is suggesting that wheat-based glue is the strongest one among such substances, but then again, you don’t always want the strongest glue. For example, hot glue and rubber cement are pretty effective glues, but can be easily removed. Unlike the glue used on some stickers, which can be a nightmare to remove.
I should really find and read some kind of glue guide, one of these days. I’m always confused when I need to fix something.
Haha, I’ve certainly made some silly mistakes through the years using the wrong glue.
Sometimes I’ve forgotten to first clean the surface, or sometimes I’ve used the wrong glue for a certain surface. Or when I was a kid, I sometimes built models, and a lot of those glues contain toxic solvents, which isn’t good. Lots of things still use toxic solvents, in fact. 😕
