minus-squareBeehaw_Girl@beehaw.orglinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up9·7 days agoAh you’re wise. My first thought was experimenting with red & yellow food coloring until the objective was achieved Serious question though: does turmeric have flavor?
minus-squareSwedneck@discuss.tchncs.delinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up5·6 days agoyeah it tastes yellow, next question
minus-squareEphera@lemmy.mllinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up23·7 days agoIt’s mostly bitter with a slight hotness and a herbal touch. “Dry” is also a really good adjective for it IMHO. Source: I just ate half a teaspoon of turmeric. 10/10 would not recommend. I guess, I should also add that you really don’t need a lot of turmeric to color things yellow, so the flavor isn’t that big of a deal here.

minus-squaresnoons@lemmy.calinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·7 days agoUgggh yeah, I’ve accidentally dumped a bunch of turmeric into a pan and well at that point you just have to roll with it. I shoved it down my gullet and forced my self to think of anti-inflammatory responses.
