Milli Vanilli got 90s canceled for not actually singing any if their songs and lip syncing live. Vanilla Ice was “controversial” cause he was not only a white rapper in the late 80s early 90s, he was also really awful at it. But yeah, you probably dont know them cause they faded from the spotlight like 30 years ago. Im only aware if em cause of the lip syncing thing with Milli Vanilli being something people made fun of for years after cause we didnt have the internet and memes went on for years and Vanilla Ice cause of the Ninja Turtles movie he was in
