Got a kid’s bike seat and helmet for Little Beaver, so we spent the weekend zooming around various parks. She’s an adrenaline junkie, so she loves it. Great weekend overall.

They had an earth day event at our community center this weekend. We got some seeds and a flower to plant, we painted rocks and saw the inside of a garbage truck. Played in the playground. Had a nice lunch in a restaurant, which we almost never do. Ran into a teacher from my sons daycare, which was super cute. Many of the teachers are college kids and she was working her second job at the place we went to. He was a little star for lunch because she knew him so well and wanted to check in on him. Today is more chill but it’s just nice enough that we spent some time outside, literally just laying on a blanket in the sun in the yard. Not a bad weekend.

Those stroller thingies are really damaging to the spine. Good thing they’re out of fashion.

Been super unwell this past week. I gave myself a long weekend because we usually have a public holiday around this time of year to celebrate our first military fuckup. But I’ve spent the whole time inside and in bed. I got a medical certificate to switch things from annual leave to sick leave, but that just serves as a reminder how everything revolves around work
