this is what my calc 1 professor gave us to brush up with when i took it a couple years back. they’re just videos though, if you want everything to stick you’ll have to spend some time grinding problems.

the instruction isn’t very thorough, worth skimming when you need a quick refresh. use it for the exercises. I’d go through the Algebra + Trig book and Precalc, you’ll need to understand trig pretty well to get through calc 2 hell

I’d argue it’s not about this place being designed for one specific type of post. The point is not every community should necessarily be filled with hecklers. This place is to heckle. Even if the stuff we’re heckling could possibly also be posted somewhere else, it makes sense to have a sanctioned point and laugh zone so there’s at least room for more serious discussion (y’know, in theory)

edit: to be clear I’m fine with banning contrapoints posts, or really anyone who happens to be clogging up the feed at any given time. could always temporarily pin a quarantine post or something to contain it
