Weaponization of civilian assets like this should be prohibited. Feels so wrong. It is only the terrorists and terrorist-like regimes who use civilian camouflage for such purpose. What stops someone paranoid with an itchy trigger finger or even just bad intel or grainy surveillance photo to make a mistake and fire on a real civilian ship!
Sometimes I forget that westerners genuinely have lost their capacity for caution. Blowing up what you think is a warship over shoddy intel or grainy footage is onion levels of parady. But that’s straight up just how western militaries operate.

The US blockade only applies to Iranian ports and these ships left or went to the UAE.
Granted the media has been calling it the blockade of the Strait, but don’t get too excited since this is still “allowed” by the US.
