Ironically a fully AI pic would look more convincing in terms of resolution. Those are definitely artifacts from upscaling.

If this is what your phone’s camera app is doing I would suggest resisting the temptation to ever use its zoom function at all. You can always do a terrible AI upscaling later if that is what you really want; when you take the “photo” this way you don’t have any other options. (though maybe the same phone would also slopify non-zoomed images though?)
I think I first got a Samsung Galaxy in 2014 and it had the same issue. The flat camera means there’s no actual depth perception so it hallucinates finer details. My best-ever wildflower photo was ruined by it in 2018 and it pissed me off to the point that I got a DSLR. Now I have my phone set to save large raw images so I don’t think it would highlight the text as much as whatever settings they’re using, but it would definitely have the same kind of blurring.
