Got into an argument about the bathroom bullshit with my mom today who said verbatim “what if someone pretends to be Trans to get into women’s rooms” to which I had to explain to her that literally nobody would ever do that and that men creep on women and children all the time without doing that. Then she told me she would have to listen to trans people on that issue and we’ll now my mom knows I am Trans and is really really confused. My favorite one was “well you still dress like you and dont have breasts” and like really mom you have not noticed that I started shaving my face religiously, wearing fitted clothing and women’s jackets and changed my entire wardrobe over the last few years.

Worst coming out ever. Another funny one was when she said but you still like girls and I just gave her the raised one eyebrow stare like lol you can figure it out.

I also told her people reacting like her are exactly why I haven’t socially or physically transitioned and that I was indeed born this way.
