  • @PostnataleAbtreibung I have #Anycubic S1 combo at home and when it prints, it prints cool.

However, I have constant issues with network connection on it (the firmware is shit). ACE also does not fit some 1kg spools, be aware of it.

If you have questions, feel free to ask.

    I mostly print #PETG, sometimes #ASA

  • @EchoCranium Exactly same thing happened to me when I tried to use AnyCubic slicer, that did not had Linux build, but only Windows binary installer. AnyCubic slicer is fork of Orca.

Are you sure you are using Linux version of the slicer?

  • @gdaofb27584 The base need few supports, it's not stable enough

  • @gdaofb27584 According to object rotation I don't think it's printing issue, but nozzle hit the model and rotated it

  • @PostaLI'm not saying it's not - actually both manufacturers and customers may benefit this way

  • @CeedoestreesFriendica tagged you automatically. The comment was for other guy though 😀

  • @Krauerking @Ceedoestrees All you're right to do is cut the crap with your trolling about "you aren't protesting enough to make me impressed" bullshit 😀

If you don't have "thank you" or anything constructive to discuss how to improve the model, then you're out of topic and that's what I do call lame

  • @anguo

I also could easily separate the layers with minimal force.

I consider this information important as this mean it's not sticking for some (not hot enough or not enough material?) reason.

I only had splittable (not that easily though) layers with ABS/ASA, never with PLA or PETG

  • @anguo Actually it seems like your bed slipped halfway (see the sudden misalignment on Y axis clearly visible on the bowl) and even though printer kept printing well afterwards, it propably reached some point where it started printing "into the air"

  • @TDCNSims on steam are also logged into EA account so all the DLCs might (!) be available after installing and logging in.

I'd start with actually trying it. It's free 😀

  • @anguo @mf If you talk about joy, then gyroids are the most satisfying 😁

  • @spitfire When I fine-tuned my settings I got a lot of stringing until I reached 225°C for some reason. Maybe it's vendor-specific 😀

  • @mooklepticonI think my Z-offset is too high and I'm compensating it with temperature, but I don't care - nozzle cleans itself well, prints well and even structure is good.

When it works, don't touch it 😀
