  • I think it is just an easy excuse and buzzword for "you slow down our max profit efficiency by not being simple" like there is an automated process that all of life needs to fit into. So you punish them out of existence by them either not participating or worse.

    So we will pass laws to make it so we don't accommodate to squeeze out a little more profit. What a dumb addiction.

  • I don't know how but everyone seems to agree that if anything requires effort or some level of complex thought away from routine that it should be banned.

    Like how did we come to expect life to be so easy?And the people with power will push it like it is right.

  • How does finishing an airport beverage get you kicked off a plane? I once brought a 5lb loaf of bread on in my lap and nibbled on it for the whole flight.

    The disability is the only thing left after you remove the likeliness that she isn't the first and only person to do this. Personality thrown to the side since rude/dumb people have also existed forever.

  • Devoid of flavor is just a huge problem with our modern farming practices.

    But agreed that instead of getting perfectly good produce that looks funny it felt like I was getting stuff that had been crushed under the pallets and or had mold or splitting issues.

    We just don't have an actual infrastructure for getting actual bulk waste produce to people who could use it. We really need food halls.

  • This one uses generative AI to "add details" instead of just adding pixels for more resolution. It can decide what a character "should" look like pushing a more homogeneous design to anyone using this since it will be built in training models of who knows what origin.

  • You do see how these are very different from being told to lie to enrich someone else?

    Like if you said someone told you to kill yourself in fortnite so they could win a polymarket bet that would at least be related and a fun comparison story.

    This is like saying, well sure you shot your husband for beating you but, me, I ignored it for years when my sister was being abused by her husband. Its not related and just sorta makes you look miserable and bad in comparison rather than relatable.You can reply how you want but this is not gonna go well in conversation.

  • Hahahaha.... Oh no... Oh. No. From my younger days? I go back a decade and I'm in high school, and the bands I listened to then were all dead already (Journey, Eagles, Jim Croce)

    No I saw Mammoth recently and 3 people were bobbing their head in the front and there were people sitting on the floor in the back.Basically true for AJR, and others. Only true pit experience I got was The Wrecks who split the audience in 3 groups to make us compete against each other and then ran around trying to find people in the audience to dance with, but even then it was the minority position to dance.

  • There was an article recently about some account called like "magamaster###" creating a bet about Iran, winnining $900,000 and all within the span of about 2 days before just disappearing.

    Pretty sure the people that win aren't doing it by luck anymore.

  • Gardening.

    I just liked that I could grow things but now if I have a bad year where something doesnt grow it means more stuff to buy and I don't feel like I can try planting something that might not grow well just to try it.

    Also concerts.Didnt have the money for them my whole life until recently and now they are overpriced, impossible to figure out logistically with Ticketmaster and when you go its mostly wealthy people sitting and not dancing or seemingly enjoying themselves past the overpriced drinks.
