    I always wonder what would happen if someone like me with already intense dreams would take something like that. Cause people be dying in my dreams all the time. But I do really like the cinematic dreams though. Extra points if you fall to your death and you wake up just as you smack into your own mattress and have to question if it really was just all a dream....

    I have taken melatonin before but I swear that and nyquil doesnt doesnt give me sleep but gives me a coma.

  • Yeah, the ones where you don't wake up and your brain decides to do the whole hyper realistic pain thing is bullshit.

    I once derailed an entire dream about racing dinosaurs in go karts because I got out of the car and stepped on some glass and had to spend the rest of the time dreaming tending to the wound and pain of pulling them out and bandaging my foot because I wouldn't wake up. Insane what will and won't wake you up.

  • I mean I get weird dreams all the time. Cities that don't exist, whole worlds and people I have never met.

    Craziest one I think for me personally was:I was being held in a hospital for the mentally insane child. Now I was not a child and it made it very awkward cause they did not like me and kept threatening to dissolve my body in acid or let the lead doctor know I wasnt a psychopathic child. Now the head doctor was Frankenstein, the monster, not the Dr who was a monster; who if you stayed still wouldn't notice you much. So I had to pretend to be into shape puzzles and torture, while hiding at the sound of heavy boots.

    Anyways, after 2 months I planned my escape by pretending to be a pregnant woman to get transferred to a new hospital.I enjoyed the view of the California coastline as I rode away in that limo taking off my fake belly and wig to the shock of everyone in the audience. I had won.

    Then I woke up from my 40 minute nap.

    It reeks of performative fan fiction cause it like literally is. It is no worse "white women creaming her pants at her own somewhat problematic dreams" than most of the other books in the YA dystopia category but boy howdy this is rough and the fact that the author was literally a Texas English teacher and writes leftist "journalism" showed hard. It literally quotes better nonfiction books to you.

    You are right to think she doesnt necessarily want her own demons said which is why everyone in Washington has blackmail on them to keep in line but also, since she read the files, MTG might just not want to speak out cause she knows what Trump does to women considering the bodies allegedly in his wake.

  • I mean she has always been a grifter but she's poor and thought she had an in with the GOP to enrich herself like many in both parties have done before and still.

    Now the interesting thing is that she's moving to this side of the argument. She is basically a "fair weather" grifter, so it says something that she thinks the wind is blowing this way.

  • Yeah its a shame the american system incentivizes people to accept corruption u til they can build a financial safety net for the self to replace a social one to be able to speak out about issues they see within their workspace.

    It basically makes everyone dirty and treats them like they are untrustworthy and double standarding just because they "now" choose to speak out minimizing some of the very real issues.

  • The problem is that the hardware for AI and consumers are very different. And instead of manufacturers spinning up new production of these different components they actually took apart and retooled existing consumer production lines to make these AI computer components.

    There will be a lull of having to retool and go back to producing consumer grade and they might just not bother if they think everyone is to poor to purchase them and lean on exclusivity to keep prices high for a while after.
