  • Man I just love Ella Purnell's acting. She makes so many wonderfully expressive faces that do a great job with character development and even voice work is amazing.

    The most incredible thing is that you likely know her other work and don't know that you do.

    I mean I am excited to finally flex my creativity, see if there is anything I can figure out how to do with all our crap and the new world. Maybe some kind of silly The Grinch level home full of housing code violations and crazy contraptions made of garbage while I cross breed pea/beans.

    It would be cool if when I die people thought of me as some weird hermit alchemist and as they wander through my house finding tools of the old world uncover a lost truth and then some YA type shit happens as a result.

    Dying is easy, we all do it eventually, the question is, if you do anything before you get to the same finish line.

  • I forgot that I had it running and was just jamming. Then I also forgot it was a demo and the game literally has a timid character come up to you and tell you that you overstayed your welcome but they won't tell you to leave... Then the UI says it doesnt have the same concerns and boots you from the game.

    Just a whole lot of fun!

    The good place was in the end about how unfair the world is and how we have to make little efforts to be better to not all be stuck in hell.   • I mean yeah. Basically I see 3 types. Those that know things are fucked and are depressed. Those that deny reality and say we are in hell and need to be cleansed and those that say we are in hell and need to dance in it and not care so much.

    Its basically those that are formerly religious using it as an excuse to be apathetic. But its everywhere where that is true and there are a lot of religious.

  • I mean literally the biggest show from YouTube to amazon was Hazbin Hotel, a show that is a super loose parable to how all us poors are in hell.

    Ghost, The Good Place, even Supernatural said that god abandoned us and the demons had come to earth.

    If you aren't seeing the media calling us sinners and the counter culture trying to dance in it then you haven't been paying attention.

  • Funny enough it isn't.

    There is a concept in imperialism that eventually after running out of room to expand the threat of violence and demand turns inward towards its own people and then when that fails too they lash out violently towards anything they deem as a resource they should own.

    Its actually extremely common throughout history and means also this has not felt new to people that that have been in the sights of the outward facing arm of it for decades now. So it might feel unique to you and you may claimit to be because years have passed and we have new technology to wage these fights with.. But its shockingly more of the same just getting spread around more to more people to shelter the controlling classes more, as usual.
