I disagree with you there, GOP has just as much control over media outlets, but the extent of control differs depending on which outlets you’re talking about.
…are they? They’re just incompetent in different ways. Not sure competent is how I’d describe them, they are a mess: The last election is proof of that.
Filed under “Yeah, no shit, lol”.
Yeah I hate it when people just leave them in the middle of the sidewalk like they’re the main character in a video game or something.
How about… stop using META?
Carry an air horn, just for occasions like this.
Same here, Topeak Morph has become my go-to for a travel pump.
My take was more that cycling is one of a few different ways of getting around that was demonstrably healthier for you compared to non-active methods of transport like driving.
At the end of the day, they’re all good regardless of which one may or may not be “best” (in other words, anything is far better than nothing).
Also, to be fair, cycling is way faster than walking or running (sometimes it’s even faster than driving, especially when you factor in parking+traffic).
Now that I would actually consider getting! My bike already uses a 21700 light and I use 18650s in most of my flashlights.
Being able to swap out a dead battery and carry spares would eliminate my primary concern about battery powered pumps.
I’ll be sticking with hand pumps I think: There’s no battery to fail and the travel ones are pretty light.
I recommend the Topeak Morph series for use on the road and I use a Joe Blow at home that also works very well (I’ve even used it to inflate car tires before).
I think everyone got the joke, but comedy is hard.
Narrator: It did not help solve that.
Mine kind of annoys me but I’m considering switching it to belt anyways lol
I was looking at the 600X for a touring bike but I’m worried about if I snap a belt then the spare I won’t be able to replace it anywhere near as easily as I could a chain. If I get a dedicated touring bike (right now I’m just using a modded Trek 820 lol) it’d probably be the Marin Four Corners or maybe a Fuji Touring Disc.
I don’t know I’d trust an aluminum frame for touring, but for getting around the city so far the aluminum Folder has been great so far.
Kind of an interesting design but honestly a well-adjusted MIPS helmet seems to fit me no problem already as long as it’s not too small a size.
There are people who can ride bikes by echolocation too, impressive AF!
Are you going to get clips surgically attached to your feet or… ?
