IDK that analog bikes will ever disappear, I have an ebike, boards, and a car, but my preferred method of travel is a simple 3x7 hardtail MTB
Maybe they should have bothered to vote? Crazy idea, I know.
Hammocks are just better IMO. Tarp + Hammock is my go to shelter in every season.
It’s the cycle perpetuated by idiots and assholes in C-suite who either do not understand or don’t care because they’ve chosen to prioritize short term profits over making the company sustainable: Outsource to “save money”, lose money because they fired all their competent staff and are left with grossly underpaid, overworked staff on the other side of the planet who often barely give a shit or barely understand, resulting in the company having to rebuild their in house support anyhow, ultimately costing much more money but by then, the execs have probably jumped off with their golden parachute so it’s no longer their problem.
Some leadership is wise enough not to do this, but it’s very, very common.
Definitely adds some weight IIRC, but not a crazy amount.
Have you used them before?
I think regen braking is fine on a bike, but it’s mostly just about descent control and saving wear/tear on your disk brakes, the nominal charging done is just icing on the cake (at least with traditional batteries, maybe it’s more efficient with caps?)
What tires are those?
Where do you live? Markets vary by location.
We are idiots.
Yeah no shit, it’s all just bullshit lip service.
Don’t bother, just make your own communities or magazines and contribute to them regularly.
“If you build it, they will come.”
You can tell people about it if you like (especially if it comes up casually in conversation), but if you try to push it too hard you’ll drive people away.
If the fediverse grows too quickly, it will also introduce more problems existing systems may not be able to handle.
“yall” is obviously not the problematic part of that sentence
That’s how people use it, whether you like it or not. I did not invent the language, but that’s how people use it.
Saying “guys” on its own is also not the same thing as “you guys” in regions that do this.
You can shoot the messenger all you like but it is what it is and I have no power over how people in a region use a language, I am merely informing you of that fact.

lmao, hard pass. Thanks.
Yeah I don’t see that one going over well anywhere
People where I am from call everyone “you guys” - men, women, trans, doesn’t matter, everyone is just “you guys” even when it’s a woman addressing a group of women.
The literal meaning isn’t gender neutral, but in actual practice, it 100% is.
As for “y’all” or “you all”, I don’t see how it could possibly be interpreted as offensive to any gender.
Give him a call and see!
Practically speaking, 3D printed stuff is inherently unsafe even with “food safe” filament due to the spaces it allows for bacteria to grow, potential contaminants from the printer itself (like the nozzle), and the risk of microplastic contamination even if you can mitigate risks from the other two.
If you are worried about microplastics, I would also avoid using teabags entirely: Get loose leaf tea and brew it with a stainless steel capsule instead because unfortunately the teabags leach PTFE into your teas.
