Animals should not be used for radical transgender experiments.
This is not science. This is ideological cruelty paid for by the American taxpayers.
Our TRANS MICE Act ends it. No federal funds may be used to conduct, support, or fund research aimed at altering an animal’s biological sex.
No hormones. No surgeries. No taxpayer dollars spent mutilating animals in the name of transgender ideology.
This legislation brings accountability, ends taxpayer-funded cruelty, and ensures science serves the public, not ideology.
Note: Some people are responding and saying “Lol you’re so ignorant, obviously they’re talking about trans GENIC mice, lol you don’t even know science”, and while I’m sure Nancy Mace doesn’t know the difference, this would specifically ban testing anything that could be construed as gender affirming or relating to gender affirming care on mice, and the Trump administration has specifically suspended funding for testing of trans healthcare on mice.

Fuck no. Would you want to be tortured for someone else’s medicine? It is completely selfish to think that your needs require brutalizing animals. How about you leave these living, thinking, feeling, conscious animals alone and not torture and exploit any living beings. Animal models aren’t even accurate and yet it is legally mandate to breed, torture and brutalize living beings with thoughts and feelings. Ban all animal testing.
uhhh veterinary medicine is for animals. as in taking your dog to the vet. i’m not sure how you propose to develop treatments for feline immunodeficiency virus without a cat being involved.
