Women have always been in the gaming industry, they were just ignored for the most part.
Video games were marketed as boys toys in the past, but even then girls played them and never had a problem playing as a male character.
If you can relate to a cartoon plumber that says mama mia and wahoo, but can’t relate to a women, I am deeply concerned for you. You don’t even have to relate to the main character to enjoy the game. I don’t relate to Kris Deltarune in the slightest, but I still enjoy the shit out of those games.
If you ever need a shot to your ego. Remember there is a loud protest for all games to be the same generic slop. How do chuds not realize THEY’RE the reason everything is becoming unoriginal remakes?
