Pride flags have been flown during the month of June for the last four years in Northport Village Park, but this year, there was backlash as they went up.
Neither did I lmao. First thing they did was march us all into an auditorium to watch the beach landing scene from Saving Private Ryan because Murica fuck yeah!

What the actual fuck? If it wasn’t for the fact I’ve been told by an airwoman that her instructors had her whole class listen to all the panicked 9/11 audio logs for her civil engineering course I’d be even more surprised.
Then again now that I think of it, these are kids getting the boot treatment. Wtf.
It was an entire week of shit like that. Think a week of model UN but it’s entirely focused on how great America and its political system is. All of the volunteers running it are boomer military veterans and their cop fail-sons. Most of the kids that go are conservative dweebs, like little Ben Shapiros. Pledge of allegiance and national anthem every day. It’s American hitler youth.
And of course throughout the week there were military recruiters sticking their claws into impressionable children while they are separated from their parents. The final day they brought in the State Police and every local department in the region to show off their cool cars, dogs, helicopters, armored vehicles, etc.
I haven’t watched it yet but somebody finally made a documentary about how fucked this whole thing is
