A cognitive test checks for problems with your mental functioning (cognition). The test involves answering basic questions and performing simple tasks. You don’t need to study before taking this test.
The test results come as a score that’s either normal or below normal. A normal score may mean you’re your brain is functioning as expected. But in some cases, you may still have symptoms of an underlying cognitive impairment with a normal score. Additional testing may be necessary. A below-normal score means that your provider suspects cognitive impairment.
I literally took the same test at a hospital a couple weeks ago after faceplanting on my skateboard trying to do a 180 ollie and also got a perfect score (not concussed)
