but tbh those silly bits usually generate thousands of accounts with random names with sequential predictions which they purge accordingly, around world cup and binary sport events (strangely they use numbers, using markov chains to string half coherent handles seem beyond the tech)

more overhyped than it should, probably less relevant than last ebola outbreak, but if it weren’t that shit of a virus, it’s basically ideal scenario for outbreak and its possible containment that drives people nuts - it broke out on a cruise ship, was infecting couple of people there, and then seemingly people gallivanted through airports round the world instead of just letting the ship dock and sit tightly.
