As always, we ask that in order to participate in the weekly megathread, one self-identifies as some form of disabled, which is broadly defined in the community sidebar:
“Disability” is an umbrella term which encompasses physical disabilities, emotional/psychiatric disabilities, neurodivergence, intellectual/developmental disabilities, sensory disabilities, invisible disabilities, and more. You do not have to have an official diagnosis to consider yourself disabled.
Mask up, love one another, and stay alive for one more week.

I’m really tired of “unemployed” being used as an insult
Right there with you, seems like I’ve been seeing it a lot recently in the form of “Job is a scary word for some people” or something along those lines
i mean honestly, god forbid someone find the idea of spending all their time on back breaking work for peanuts to make some asshole richer scary or whatever
i feel like that’s just rational tbh
It is
more rational to me to not want to spend the majority of your waking life working
In a capitalist world, it’s the ultimate insult. Those of us who can’t work are subhuman.
