French overseas territories are officially France, Greenland is not officially Denmark. You can differentiate Greenland from Denmark and you will hear no one complaining (Well, nobody worth listening to).

I’m guessing this is mostly underlying data hijinks because Greenland is an autonomous territory of sorts and French Guyana is just straight up france. I mean latter is part of the EU and uses the Euro.

Besides forgetting it exists, Greenland is mostly a native populace as opposed to the “approved” European.
I suppose it does have Mayotte beat on that metric.
