They tease us with this alien file shit every few years it feels like but then there’s never any new information given. I get it, there’s other shit for us to worry about, but I’m still curious and wanna know what the deal is with these things that apparently defy the laws of physics

It doesn’t seem like they were western weapons being tested on account of them not being used at all re: Iran

It’s either one of the most elaborate fabrication ops by US intelligence in the last 50 years (notwithstanding the fact it’s completely pointless and irrelevant)

Or it’s aliens; aliens who for whatever reason seem interested in shadowing and testing the largest militaries on Earth, a behavior that we can infer points to at least some rudimentary socio-political understanding of humans and implies some kind of limited prime directive being adhered to (considering the fact TicTacs aren’t blowing anything up or saving the day anywhere on the planet)

Personally I lean toward fabrication because a TicTac is such a lame shape for a starship and I prefer aliens that intervene when witnessing genocide

Why would FTL tech end up at a planet anyway? 99.9999999999999% of space is not planets. You wouldn’t end up at the wrong planet, you’d end up in the middle of nowhere.

I mean I can certainly think of ways it could happen, depending on how the interface for a mostly automated navigation system would work.

Just one example, they could have a planetary coordinate system where practically any input would bring you to space near a different celestial body. Like they could be numbered from galaxy / solar system / orbit the way the postal codes work in many countries

Or even simpler, Siri misheard them

Every UFO video is easily explained by the fact that the apparent movement of the objects is not only caused by the object moving itself, but also the camera’s velocity, angle, framing, and zoom.

Im not thinking about random camcorder footage of UFOs I’m talking about specifically the things supposedly seen with US navy FLIR imaging that do stuff like go from the edge of space to the surface of the ocean and stop in an instant

I first saw it mentioned in 2015 and then every few years it got talked about like it was some new thing, in conjunction with stuff like that guy Luis Elizondo saying they had “recovered materials” from some UFO (with journalists never apparently thinking to ask a single question about the materials that would indicate anything about their properties)

Im not lying awake at night thinking about the aliens I just every now and then think “i wonder what the fuck was up with that”

FLIR cameras are still cameras and thus are subject to all the things I listed. Is there any evidence of that footage existing or is it just hearsay?

Anybody pushing this from the military or politics is just grifting about it.

You’re going to get woo woo answers about aliens from another planet, or interdimensional time travelers, or even straight up demons. The best guess I can muster after having been interested in aliens and uaps for most of my life is that this might simply be something outside our current understanding of the world. No one can explain, like you said, how a tic tac ship can defy physics or another flying object can take a hellfire missile and not be shot down.

I will also add, there’s coordinated government misinformation around the phenomenon. Look to the people doing foias and leaking actual military intel for anything concrete rather than some mook on reddit.

This isn’t a very dialectic materialist response, but my personal belief is that there’s just some weird shit out in the universe we cannot explain. A lot of UFO shit is obviously fakes or misidentification, but I think sometimes, there are people who experience things that are beyond the realm of our ability to comprehend or do anything about.

I have no opinion on or interest in tic tacs, but I wanted to mention that there’s no reason to think a hypothetical weapon doesn’t exist because it wasn’t deployed in the first several days of a war.

Idk the shit i saw these things described doing 10 years ago, if real and a thing the U.S. were in control of, is kinda game changing. I think if the u.s. had aircraft that were effectively magic they’d have launched nukes already (not related to the Iran war) and relied on the wunderwaffen to circumvent MAD (unless China and Russia has equivalent technology, but then it becomes a question of “well why the fuck is the entire world keeping propulsion and materials technology so advanced our current planes look like they’re made of sticks and stones in comparison a secret instead of using any of that technology for any other purpose”)
