When I was in Santiago de Cuba I was walking the streets during one of the regular power cuts and this kid comes up and started talking to me about who I am and what I’m doing. Turns out that before the power went out he had been watching one of the new spider man movies, but decided to go for a walk while waiting for the power to come back on. Anyway, he gave me a tour of the town and I bought him a drink at the end. Cubans are so nice.
