Does anyone else prefer Real-Time-with-Pause (RTwP, like in Dragon Age: Origins or Pillars of Eternity or BG1/2 and other Infinity Engine games)? Looks like it’s dying unfortunately, although some indies still use it (like Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy or Black Geyser or GreedFall 2).

Rimworld uses it as does Against the Storm and Stellaris. Seems like it’s used more for grand strategy games or city management
