The Trump administration reportedly plans to mobilize up to 1,700 National Guard troops across 19 states in the coming weeks to support its immigration and anti-crime crackdowns, a dramatic expansion of the controversial operation that’s seen federal agents and Guard troops carrying out activities across Washington, D.C.

The troops, who will largely be activated across Republican-controlled states, will serve in support of the administration’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations, as well as other law enforcement priorities, according to comment from unnamed Pentagon officials and documents obtained by Fox News.

So 89 troops per state? TF are they going to do? Respond to calls slower than cops? Stand near a peaceful protest? Guard a federal building? Learn to be detectives and work cold cases with their brigade while documenting their progress by producing a biweekly true crime podcast?

National Guard, by and large, does not want to be doing this.

This isn’t meant to solve anything. It’s meant as a test to see if people will let him get away with it. Once it’s normalized he can start his real attack.

Take control and install a dictatorship. Of a very close form of totalitarian regime. With elections only for rich white males, electing a rich white Christian male.

Reinstate slavery (prisoners working for free) to support the industry.

Regain control over Latam. Split the world with Russia (Europe), China (Asia). Keep the middle east and Africa unstable.

Stop free trade/exchange, etc. Put firewalls on the Internet to control who can access what.

Deployments reportedly set to take place largely in Republican-controlled states

This surprises me, I would have thought he’d do the opposite. He’s doing it in areas more friendly to him first before escalating to everyone else, I guess.

Not a single nazi was punished for not following orders when it came to crimes.

Yes they were. By the ones giving the orders.

Like then, fascists will not just abuse and kill the intended victims. They’ll also abuse and kill people for standing in the way or for refusing to participate in their crimes against humanity.

I’m not saying that it’s not a good thing to resist orders that are both illegal and immoral, I’m saying that it’s not automatically and instantly safe like you imply.

You’re asking me for a source on Nazis ever being punished for disobedience?

You ARE aware that I mean DURING and BEFORE what Robert Evans refers to as Dub Dub Dos rather than during the following trials, right?

They were absolutely punished by the people giving the orders. They weren’t tried for refusing during the Nuremberg trials, but the ones who blatantly refused during the war didn’t survive that long; They were quickly forced out of service, labeled deserters, or just outright killed for being Jew sympathizers.
