At my parents place their dog prefers the seat I usually sit in, and I don’t wanna make the dog get up, so I lift the chair with the dog on it to another spot and take another chair. They’re always like “Oh you just push her down” or something, but that’s literally more work and also the dog will just resteal the seat.
