I actually made amaranth popcorn once
Then I came to my senses and never did it again
I like toasting flax seed with a little salt and oil.
I feel like I’d try that once just to say I had. It can be decently tasty in certain contexts
Yeah but it’s a pain to make; easy to burn without ever getting it to pop, and you have to do it in super small quantities at a time; each piece is also about as big as a grain of salt, just for something that ends up tasting like regular popcorn
That does sound like a terrible effort to outcome ratio, damn
