Got kinda confused until I saw the description anyways the fact that these people somehow believe NYC is a communist state yet somehow funded by billionaires genuinely shows me on how uneducated some amerikkkans have become.

Uh, closest class traitor Engels I can get is Neville Roy Singham - he’s pretty pro-China, a patron of the PSL, ANSWER Coalition, and husband of Jodie Evans, who helped found Code Pink

In a world full of Ford and Rockefeller Foundations, Koch Brother networks, George Soros-funded Open Society Foundation, he’s an ok guy

Reminds me of that Twitter post of a middle-age woman who was talking about abolishing private property, “unfortunately”, in order to remove the ‘Marxist’ policies and ideas of these corporations.

Ah yes, a communist billionaire, because why wouldn’t a billionaire love the overthrow of the capitalist system of production?

Engels was not a billionaire. 0.00004% of the world’s population are billionaires today. By today’s standards he was a multi millionaire for sure but he was nowhere near a billionaire. He was a part owner in a medium sized business. Engels was like one of the 10 richest people in a small town kind of rich.

Ski holiday every year type of rich. Not super yacht decorated with priceless art and its own helicopter rich.

I know, I’m obviously mostly joking. But the point still stands. We’re at a time where a low level billionaire might be so far removed from the actual richest people that they might become class traitors as well. Or maybe their kids y’know?

Point being we need capitalist class traitors on our side. Not in a way that we need to start reaching out to them or anything. But having even one actual communist billionaire or hundred-millionaire would be good idk

I guess my point is that it goes against their class interests to be a communist. Consciously going against one’s class interests is another thing.

Not that Engels was a billionaire, because billionaires didn’t exist at the time, but point taken. Well done.

Ik ik. But we need class traitors on our side to win 🤷‍♂️

Maybe not need, but I mean it sure helps

Billionaire class traitors are welcome on the condition that they’re genuine revolutionaries, but our movement is still a movement of the working class and we shouldn’t depend on them to win our class war for us.

Gonna be honest, of all the countries in NATO, Turkey absolutely should stay in; Israel has its eye on Turkey and quite frankly even though NATO may very well choose to just let Turkey get attacked, it’s better to err on the side of caution

I hate NATO, but I also recognize Israel is a rabid dog and Turkey should get any security assurances it can find

    • Just like the US military isn’t a military but a colonial police force that’s not really a great colonial police force because its primary purpose is to buy shit from the military industrial complex, NATO is less of an alliance and more of a formal integration into the international-community-1international-community-2 slash respected European junior partner sphere. If the makes sense. My point is, the NATO ‘security infrastructure’ probably wouldn’t protect Türkiye, the guys who threaten to invoke article 5 more than anyone else. It’s fundamentally a US project (article 5 was only ever actually used after 9/11 ofc) and will protect Israel more given the special relationship.

Turkey would probably win that fight tbh.

Israel isn’t used to fighting peer powers. Iran spanked them and they had to use the U.S. to get rid of Iraq and Libya. Turkey isn’t a pushover.

Yeah Turkey stomps Israel in any serious war, especially with all the damage and expenditure Israel has already took from fighting Iran. Worst thing Turkey would have to worry about is the US kill switching their equipment which is why they have been seeking out alternatives to things like the Patriot system.
