Recently noticed Hindu/Diver pushups. I don’t do them very often, but I like them a lot. Not sure if it is the range of motion or it being easier than regular pushups(pushing back straight from the bottom) for me

Been doing pilates for a couple years. Which moved to general calisthenics and mobility for exercise. Smitten. Haven’t felt this good since my 20s and I’m nearly 50.

    Taken 2 years.

Not sure it counts as exercise or sport. Most days i say i spend time ‘swimming’ but really I’m just making up funny ways to move across/around the pool. Then I make my husband compete with me in those events in the Today Family Olympics.

Bouldering, I like the mix between body strength, flexibility, technique and problem solving that it has, it’s good exercise but it feels like a game

I used to do top rope too, I like the longer height which tests your endurance, but I get a bigger rush of adrenaline and enjoyment when I finally beat a challenging bouldering problem with the fear of falling

I will still return to top rope, I feel like the one unlocks skills for the other because of the difference in the kind of difficulty

My favourite sport is sailing, raced for many years. I’ve never been a fan of team sports but racing is different. Might be the possibility of death lol. I love swimming, raced competitively as a kid, but can’t handle the chemicals at the pools and the cold of the ocean so don’t do that very often. Climbing and bouldering are the next favourite, my husband and I climbed a lot before my daughter was born. She, with my husband, is getting into it now so I went with them and wrenched my shoulder quite badly so haven’t been able to get back.

I know I need to incorporate movement and strength training into my life more (would definitely help with not getting injured!). A comment below mentioned callisthenics so I’m going to look into that. Also yoga!

I always loved dodgeball. Too bad you only play it in school and if I would play it now, I would probably hurt myself massively.

Favourite exercise is probably hiking. Full workout and you get a great view of nature, what’s not to love about that? Except if it rains of course…or is too warm… or too many people… OK there are some possible downsides.

    Triathlete here

I suck at cycling, running and swimming. The worst is swimming, and the one I like most is probably cycling…

My favorite solo exercise is rucking since all I have to is put on my vest or a pack with sand bags in it and start walking. BJJ is my favorite sport to participate in the only challenge is making it to a specific place and specific time

My ‘favourite sport,’ by means of being the only thing called a ‘sport’ I don’t find utterly boring, is sepak takraw. It has elements of hacky-sack which I like, and while I wouldn’t do them myself, pros regularly do backflips as part of the game, so it’s actually not painfully dull to watch either.

My favourite ‘exercise’ is just walking. When it’s not overly hot out, it’s quite pleasant but quite good for you in comparison to the amount of effort it takes.

I like hiking in the mountains. Lots of exercise, great views.

Sometimes my wife drags me along to do some Via Ferrata, which is ok, but I’m not really built for it.
