Basically we’re at “kill CEOs that hurt obviously people”.

What we’re not at are a few things like “kill enemy politicians” or “kill cops”.

The CEOs that directly harm people are wave one of the acceptable violence, there are more levels to come that people will warm up to but there will need to be breakthroughs in acceptance. Charlie Kirk was almost one such breakthrough but I don’t think it escalated to “we should do more of this” in most people’s minds. It did turn into a ridiculed circus and it did turn into “he deserved it” though, so people have escalated to “I do not mind if my political enemies are killed” even if they aren’t directly calling for it.

(for the feds, this is not a call for violence, merely an observation of where the current average is at)
