It’s literally the entire point of the “first they came for x” poem. With fascism the “in” group inevitably shrinks and the “out” group always expands. They started with targeting trans folk, those with neo-pronouns, and generally anyone who isn’t white and doesn’t cleanly fit into the LG(sometimes B) part of LGBT.
Sure it started with them fear mongering about bathrooms or making up shit about litter boxes in schools but if the fascists get their way all queerness will be persecuted, no matter how privileged you are or if you’re “one of the good ones”
