Choices, yes, but I will not install Telegram. But the other video sources are not working either.

The app I’m using on mobile can’t play the catbox.moe videos as well. But hold on the video and choose to open in browser then it can play

? There’s a ton of videos posted in the last few hours. The posts all have catbox.moe video links embedded, with a telegram source in the body.
All of them (both sets of links) load just fine for me. The videos play in-app (boost) once I click on them, and the telegram links open in firefox and also play with out a login or app…
Yea, I cannot open the catbox.moe videos nor the telegram ones. In some of the telegram ones, telegram says they are too big to show, and recommends using telegram… The catbox.moe have always given me issues on direct link to see within lemmy’s jerboa app. But they would work by clicking on the link posted in the post body — but not anymore.

Works fine over here. Support for video codecs can be wonky on all platforms and channels, that’s happening a lot.
Problem seems to be on your end.
Might be. But it has been a progressing one that does not match the changes/updates on my end.
maybe an app cache problem. as the cache fills, the problems can start.
