Larger cities in Texas like Austin and Dallas are majority blue, but are gerrymandered to make sure they stay red. Or there’s so much voter suppression, it becomes impossible for democratic voters to cast their ballots.

The solution would be to unfuck the districts in Texas and implement stuff like election day is a holiday, but that would require systemic changes that could have negative consequences in places where democrats do the same thing to republicans and third parties. So instead, they think by voting hard enough, they can flip Texas. This ignores the fact working class PoC in Houston have nothing in common with oil barons and cattle ranchers living in the same county, but outside of the city.
