    I know they didn’t, but it’s in such good condition after that, it almost looks like you could just dust it off, set it back upright, and it would be all good.

      Probably not. Anyone under the edge is crushed. Anyone on the road surface is tumbled and probably thrown off. I guess it’s better than pancaking.

      The buildings on the right side of the picture are upright.

      This highway must’ve been on pillars and fell sideways.

        What’s crazy is how long the toppled highway keeps its shape and direction, it just goes all the way to the horizon. Squinting at the thumbnail I thought I was looking at the wall of a brutalist building.
