Are you Google’s official bootlicker?
There is no link and you should list them anyways. As it stands, this is click bait without the click.
It really really bothers me that the most crucial video (the second one in the article) was butchered by fox. I can’t find the original but there’s seems to be a pretty big cut.
It jumps from a second volunteer arriving to three volunteers, two of them a second away from shooting.
The article reads like a puff piece too.
It can work I guess but I think there are more instances of it not doing so. The results don’t warrant the price.
And so the cycle continues
I like this a lot
Definitely a war crime. It also most likely brought about anime which is objectively worse.
I’m pretty certain all video generation models use YouTube. It’s actually a treasure trove of data. Almost all video data is either owned by Hollywood or YouTube and similar apps (tiktok, twitch).
Sucks for content creators but I don’t think they will be getting anything out of it. It will either be freely usable or Google will lobby the goverment, using the anti AI sentiment that has been drummed up, to give itself ownership.
You sometimes get these type of hallucinations during moments of silence using the whisper text-to-speech model. It’s very off putting.
“Your new baby is just soooooo breedable. Super cute!”
People are being harsh with the downvotes but I get what you mean. I get bored and restless doing nothing productive for long lengths of time.
I’m also guessing you don’t mean a 40 hour grind where all the profit goes to a small group of individuals in your example.
If I was told I could work or study but didn’t have to and it was public profits, I’d probably still end up doing a 20-25 hours a week in something.
You are a bit harsh with it though. I wouldn’t say just family and hobbies is hollow.
same gruel every day
Enabling, protecting and funding blatant genocide?
post-election post-election post-election
I was vocal about voting for her before the election and did so myself even if it felt wrong. We are well past the point where supporting genocide helps them win an election.
The dems lost because voters are babies that couldn’t stomach genocide.
Do you understand how vile the narrative you try to spread is? It’s simply enabling the dems to keep doing Israel’s bidding. By contrast, I’m saying:
The dems lost because they supported genocide
Blaming and holding them accountable for their actions might actually lead to change while blaming voters brings about absolutely nothing. If they give us the same platform next election, we will lose again. They have to change and we have to pressure them to. It is their job to listen to what the people want, not the other way around.
I really like making mushroom caps with an escargot, garlic butter and cheese stuffing in each one. It’s usually a hit amongst the brave that are actually willing to eat slimy snails.
The oil industry must be so giddy to have found a new scape goat out of nowhere.
Datacenters take a lot of energy because they serve a lot of people. The impact can be lessened with a proper grid centered around renewable.
There are actual things that are fucking up the planet, individuals using AI, gaming or having a Google account aren’t the actual issue.
That got a hard laugh out of me
It would be a real shame if someone organised a protest on every Saturday and maybe sporadically during week days.
which it turned out belonged to James […] whose number appears on his company website.
When Smethurst challenged that, it admitted: “You’re right,” and said it may have been “mistakenly pulled from a database”.
but the overreach of taking an incorrect number from some database it has access to is particularly worrying.
I really love this new style of journalism where they bash the AI for hallucinating and making clear mistakes, to then take anything it says about itself at face value.
It’s a number on a public website. The guy googled it right after and found it. Its simply in the training data, there is nothing “terrifying” about this imo.
In such scenarios, distance is probably an advantage so I would go with Hawaii if it is an option. There’s good diving too.
