    This isn’t wrong. In europe Working Men’s clubs weren’t just finding people jobs, they were essential social outlets with football (soccer) teams and other sports activities. There was a whole social infrastructure that existed around the organising infrastructure that tied communities together.

      Also, left orgs should get better at finding each other jobs. I’ve been in a good handful of orgs and only one was ever effective at that (granted, that was pre-2008, so a little easier to do)

      Does that count as mutual aid?

      Nanjing has roughly 12.5 sports fields per square mile (doing napkin math on ~30k sports fields and the area of the city)

      Have a friend from there who says he had like 3 within a 15 minute bike-ride from his house.
