But nothing ventured, nothing gained. Just don’t take it possibly not clicking to heart is what I’m getting at, a decade+ is a long time and they (like you) have changed.

I understand - had a similar moment recently re: my own high school friends, which is where my comment comes from (though in my case it was closer to a decade than decades). Some were happy to hear from me, others ghosted.
