So I made out my grocery order today and loaded up on rice and beans, lean cut of meat, and some spinach and mushrooms. Prices of eggs is down so I got a dozen. I’m trying to follow the high protein diet they had me on in rehab to try and lose some weight.

I already do intermittent fasting, I usually stop eating by 9 pm, then head off to bed at 10 or 11 pm, and sleep through to 10 am the next day.

idk we shall see if I lose some weight? I don’t have a scale or anything which is funny, trying to lose pounds.

    Hard agree on the importance of protein. If you want a cheaper, less caloric equivalent to ground beef (and vegan). I highly recommend textured vegetable protein. Stir in some tomato paste and minced garlic and some other seasonings and you got a good ground beef for tacos and shepherd’s pie and whatnot.
