That’s an understatement, they would murder you if they could get the public consent. Which they’re building by blaming people, there’s a crucial step missing in the whole idea of “manufacturing consent” which is how to build an establishment that is capable of manufacturing it in the 1st place, the real propaganda is convincing people that what the TV box says is true, free them from the thought process so they let you think for themselves.
A lot of communists seem to fail to understand this. The fact that you can’t just take things for granted and have to experiment in practice to confirm it the ideas they believe are real.
The real trick to building propaganda machine is you start off with the truth, pacify people by doing things in their place and when they’re too lazy to think for themselves they’re going to believe anything you say, as long as the outcome is pleasing to them.
100% agree. Edit: We’re not even passed the peak of it either. Won’t stop until the actual revolution starts, I guess, when doing physical things in the world matters more in the imperial core than smol-beaning on the internet as a moral shield.
